Who we are
Novaia (wearenovaia.com) is the trade name of Ahdemad Abouzekri, an independent creative professional based in Egypt, who is the data controller ("Novaia", "we"). Contact for all data matters: hello@wearenovaia.com. Postal address available on request.

What we collect
When you send a quote request, free sample request or review, we collect what you type into the form: your name, work email, brand or company name, the services you are interested in, your message, and the language of the page. If you attach or send product photos afterwards, we receive those files.
Why we use it and on what legal basis
We use your data to reply to your request, prepare a quote or your free sample, and, if you become a client, to deliver our services and invoice you. The legal basis is the performance of a contract or the steps you ask us to take before a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). With your consent, we use cookies for analytics and advertising measurement (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Giving us your data is voluntary, but we cannot reply without your name and email. We make no automated decisions about you.
If we contact you first
If we write to you about our services, we found your name, role and business contact details on your company's website or your public professional profile. We use them only to offer our services to your company, based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object at any time: we delete your data and do not contact you again. Otherwise we keep it for up to 24 months.
Who we share it with
Your form is received through Netlify (Netlify, Inc., San Francisco, United States), which hosts the website and stores form submissions, and is delivered to our team's email. Analytics and advertising cookies, only if you accept them, send data to Google (Google Ireland Limited) and Meta (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited). We share data with no one else, except when the law requires it.
International transfers
You send your data directly to us, and we read and store it in Egypt, a country without an EU adequacy decision. Netlify, Google and Meta may process data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep quote and sample requests for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, unless you become a client, in which case we keep project records for as long as the law on accounting and contracts requires.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to withdraw consent at any time, by writing to hello@wearenovaia.com. If you are in the EU, you can also complain to your local data protection authority, for example the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es) in Spain, the CNIL in France or the Garante in Italy.
Cookies
Optional cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner. Nothing optional loads before you choose, and you can change your choice at any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
Necessary
We store your cookie choice in your browser (key novaia-consent) for 12 months so we do not ask you again.
Analytics
Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) counts visits and shows which pages help visitors. More at policies.google.com/privacy.
Marketing
Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) measures whether our ads on Facebook and Instagram lead to visits and requests, and lets us show ads to people who visited this site. More at facebook.com/privacy/policy.

If you submit a review, we publish only the text, your first name and company with your explicit consent given in the form. You can ask us to edit or remove it at any time at hello@wearenovaia.com.
